We are a family owned and operated business that is dedicated to earning and then nurturing clients` trust by helping them regain their confidence in their Baby. Austin Healeys`, Triumphs` and MGs` come to us from all over the United States and Canada. We have become a trusted service and restoration expert with over 40 years of experience.
We accomplish this in several ways. First by effective and consistent communication by phone, email and face to face with the client, before, during and after the visit to our shop. Second, we immediately perform a comprehensive assessment using our custom 4 page check list on every car that comes to us. Our assessment process establishes a clear understanding of what the vehicle needs. Third, during every process on the car, we are constantly looking for the clues that warn us of the next failure. Fourth, we consult with and create an agreed upon plan and schedule, that prioritizes all the needs and fits the budget and time frame available..
By constantly adhering to our in depth assessment process and high quality of workmanship we exceed our clients expectations. That means each driving experience becomes a memory. For us, anything less is not acceptable.
Because we value our tradition of providing quality workmanship with integrity, it allows us to be unique in the restoration industry and offer a one year warranty on both our parts and our labor.
BRITISH CAR RANCH JOB DESCRIPTION
REPORTS TO
Successful applicants will report directly to the owners.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will be expected to eventually become skillful in area`s such as: performing hydraulic system repair, oil changes, complete brake jobs, wheel bearing service, part replacement, engine tune up, carburetor overhaul and adjustment, electrical and driveability diagnosis, engine and transmission rebuild and the restoration process of classic cars. You will be expected to continue skill improvement constantly by participating in either in house or external educational opportunities provided, and by reading supplied technical publications. You will be expected to help maintain the shop area, equipment and tools in a clean and organized manner. You will assist management in any way directed to help improve efficiency and work flow. Management may at any time increase your scope of work.
QUALIFICATIONS
Attitude is paramount! A positive and co-operative attitude coupled with a problem solving mind is necessary. A high degree of verbal communication skills will be needed for both daily shop work and interfacing with clients. Applicant must be able to convey his/her attitudes of integrity, trust and respect to shop members and clients. Applicant must be able to take respectful correction and apply it to improve performance. A self-motivated, dependable, team player is required.
